Another project

My Aunt kindly dropped by with some of her leftover yarn for me when she was on her way to an appointment in Chichester a couple of days ago.  My cousin, Jackie, was driving her as Maureen can no longer drive due to poor eyesight.  That is also why she gave me the yarn.  She and my Mum used to both make amazing quality knitted toys for children.  Paul acquired quite a few of these.  My Nan (their Mum) was clever in this way too.  I have a set of tortoises that she knitted for me.  M was born 16 years after my Mum, and is actually nearer my age as she is only 12 years older than me.

Anyway, I loved the colour of this yarn and am making a small scarf with it.
