Van Gogh in Rome

Lots of walking today. We went back to the Circo Massimo as there is now a virtual experience that you can enjoy and it was fantastic ! 
Then we went to Van Gogh at Palazzo Bonaparte - 50 of his works on loan, including a self portrait. My favourite? The Sower - amazing. 
 It was fascinating and of course, tragic. 

Photos were allowed ( obvs no flash and I doubt you'd even be allowed to take a photo in the uk) and people were, as they say, snap happy. I just do not get it. Instead of stopping, standing and looking, they were taking pictures and then rushing to the next painting ! Hey. What do I know? 

Anyway , I did photograph this room, mirrors everywhere. Very cool !
