Snowdrops!

Today Ro decided to take me on our old cricket ground walk and one of the things I love is a whole bank of snowdrops near where our path meets the main road.   Soon the bank will be covered in bluebells!

We also discovered an area where all the trees had been felled, could it be for new housing?  It abuts the A666. So sad to see all those old trees gone.

On a happier note the lodge (mill pond ) had 6 geese.  I doubt all three pairs will nest there.  but as the young hatch around Easter I should think the nests will be made very soon!

Very glad I managed what is the longest walk for quite a while!
