Open window
Snagging; one pane of the newly made windows had a leak, so would steam up inside when heated, so had to be replaced. The company who made them measured a few weeks back, and turned up on an hour's notice to fit the new one, disarranging my morning. Once the putty has cured there will be painters back.
The bottom of the sash goes on the hinges on the left of the frame (out of shot) and the sash cord (top centre of image) is removed so the window can swing in like this.
Out in the afternoon down the Water of Leith path. Saw goosander, mallard, a pair of geese and a single swan. Passed by the neat little garden blipped by @meles.
Through Tolbooth Wynd to Constitution Street and the bottom of the Walk. Passed some very sketchy people, intoxicated, with a big dog on a rope; then another person at the bus stop, enough to make us walk on rather than wait in the vicinity. Did get excellent chocolate saffron squares from Krema.
