The gig

Good day. Worked in the morning and was surprisingly productive. 

Met Strider in London for lunch and spent the afternoon yakking and drinking beer and whisky. We were in The Two Chairmen near St James Park when a couple of Spectactor journalists came in, so he leapt on them and started talking politics and journalism. I left him with them to go to Gunnersbury for another charity gig, Apparently they took him back to their office next door and showed him around and he got to see their leather bound archives going back to 1828. He was in heaven of course.

The gig was brilliant. Lovely music and great atmosphere. In aid of Turkish / Syrian earthquake relief. I MC'd and that seemed to be well received. The building was beautiful and the lighting excellent.

Exhausted  when I got to bed - 17,000 steps today.
