Waking up in a cold house is not a lot of fun. I can’t imagine how many people have had to do that this winter due to the cost of heating, while the energy companies make record amounts of profit.

I got up and out early and got to the office before poking my head into a meeting. I came up on Sunday in order to go to this meeting, but the gas engineer was due this afternoon and I didn’t want to miss it. As it turned out, the engineer didn’t turn up and I could have gone to the meeting.. 

I passed this window on my way home. Only in Scotland!
