Liz' wrist was going to be operated on yesterday - but all day spent in hospital and then cancelled yesterday pm for an emergency that came in.

There wasn't a hand specialist that could see her last week as some were on annual leave and now we are into the third week post fracture which may be two late to realign the bones and wire them.

Very frustrating - no spare capacity in the NHS and one of the musgrove emergency theatres is off line (not sure why).
