At the Barbican

We went to a wonderful exhibition of paintings by Alice Neel at the Barbican.
The extra shows the Mendelssohn Tree, a storm-torn remnant of a tree from Burnham Beeches under which M is supposed to have composed ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ Or so they say ….
