YELLOWSTONE

Arrived in Yellowstone National Park today - much colder than the plains and once again at a very high elevation. Couldn't get accommodation so stayed in West Yellowstone. Saw a bear but at a distance - despite the lack of visitors here a good bear jam was created!
We all agree we preferred Custer Park where the animals were around every corner but the geological features at Yellowstone are exceptional, like this fumarole.
