Today I was on the island Ameland to shoot portraits of Barend Nobel, manager of family restaurant and hotel Nobel. Right next door to the hotel is the liquor store where they sell their own drink Nobeltje, a liquor that exists since 1902 and is now famous all over Holland. And probably all over Germany as well, because in the time I was there, about 80% of the customers was German.
