Cousins

Lunch today was lovely - so good to see everyone. I especially enjoyed seeing all the cousins together - both in the restaurant and as they headed out afterwards for cake and charity shop browsing. T's dad enjoyed it all and was on good form.

The cousins are normally spread far and wide - three born in Edinburgh, three in Sweden, one in Guatemala and one in New Jersey. Two studied in Edinburgh, one in Glasgow and then New York. One is studying in Lund, one in Montreal and one in Dublin.

We chatted with L (T's sister )afterwards - looking down on Princes Street from our balcony and then spent some time with A.

Earlier in the day T made a visit to Richer Sounds (apparently we need a new amp) and then we visited the Dr Who exhibition which was great fun. We also had a general wonder around the museum and took in the Klein exhibition.

Our walk back into town took us past the stalls at the Grassmarket where we met T's friend T with whom he used to busk. He was at his stall seeing leather goods. We also wandered through the graveyWe ard at St Cuthberts.

We had thought of going to see some live music tonight but will probably have a quiet night enjoying the view.
