Border Wars

A relatively quiet day with some productive gardening this morning, clearing out a large border that is overstocked and overgrown.

We discovered this lovely purple Hellebore and it seemed delighted to see the light of day!

We had visitors this afternoon, Ell, D and Vixen the Doberman.


Vixen is a young dog, and is in her first season. I was alarmed to see her wearing a purpose made nappy due to, erm, some unpleasantness that occurs in female dogs that are in season.  Very odd, but very practical when she is indoors.

More gardening planned for tomorrow, although cold weather forecast.
