Modern Living

This is the Electrical Items skip at Todmorden Household Waste Recovery Centre. 
Our modern culture seems to be "If it doesn't work, throw it away and buy a new one".  I appreciate many, many electrical items are designed to be non-repairable and I also accept (in general terms) the mantra "Anything with a plug, battery or cable can be reused or recycled" - but it does seem such a waste.
