Cromarty boats

A mixed day weather wise , sunshine and showers but lovely light at times.
Mike made some sandwiches with the bread we bought from the bakers yesterday. We drove down to Udale bay and ate our picnic. Several geese were bathing in the burn , a few lapwings around but not displaying yet, mallards were sleeping on the bank while a group of teal waddled along on grass.
Work has started on replacing the rotten decking going up to the hide.
We drove on to Cromarty and treated ourselves to a white hot chocolate and a piece of Walnut Brownie delicious :)
Had a wander along the Links, so calm and peaceful.
Watched a film in the evening, The Gray Man. We enjoyed it but I did shut my eyes at the violent bits.
