The Genius of Calatrava

First day in Spain, and we had an hour to kill before lunch so we had a wander around the City of Arts & Sciences - one of Valencia's most impressive areas. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it's a huge stretch of the old Riverbed, filled with huge modern buildings, reflective pools, and pleasant gardens. To the left is the Science Museum, and to the right the Palace of Arts, while the eye-shaped building in front houses an IMAX cinema.
