The blue bridge

It was a fabulous sunny day in York today, and we made the most of it. It was so good to feel the heat of the sun on our backs as we walked around the city. We did the city walls in the morning, had a lovely lunch in a traditional pub, then walked along the riverside in the afternoon. Fitted in evening mass in St. George's church then round to our friends rented apartment on the river for drinks and some more food tonight. It is a long way to come for a break but we feel that its been more than two nights and it's done us the world of good. Long trip back tomorrow. Just hope the weather forecast for thunderstorms is wrong!
