Internal Weather Forecast

I look at this water in transition.
From a solid to a liquid.
And in summer it will be humidity in the air, 
Causing its havoc on my hair. [Finally, a rhyme!]
My energy, my life force,
Goes through these same transitions.
I can feel my energy shift from light and free
To heavy and dense by one critical comment.
But I am older and wiser now.
Less reactive and more responsive.
Exerting my own influence over my internal weather forecasts.
