Ready to unfurl

A lovely walk in the sunshine just before 5pm. Leaf buds are starting to appear and when the temperatures warm up the leaves will start to unfurl.

I took several photos of this little shoot, but what I love the best is the soft background of a large tree, blue sky and a green bush. I think that The Impressionists would have painted the scene like this!
