The Working Men

I was chairing the second SNP Leaderships Hustings tonight, which was held in the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes.

On my way out (en route to spend the night in Perth prior to driving to Inverness for tomorrow's hustings) I passed this, and had to stop and photograph it.

Entitled "The Working Men" it is by the then town artist of Glenrothes, Malcolm Robertson.  It not only reflects not only the strong  mining heritage of Fife , but on the dignity as well as the burden of such work.
