A large tree trunk…
has come down the river and lodged against the pillars. Would not have been good to meet that in a canoe or in a fishing line. The ghillies will sort it.
On the far bank there are at least fifty Oystercatchers, they provide scale.
In the background is the old station, now a house.
Saw a flock of about thirty Lapwings too.
