Celebrating her half birthday

Young children will often proudly tell you their age in years and half or even three quarter years. It seems to happen again over 95.

Mum is 101 and a half today.

It is also Mothering Sunday, which I forgot about, although we have never made a big thing of it.
CORRECTION! Julez tells me it’s not until 19th. Phew.

She has celebrated today by starting a piece of embroidery for an Easter card. The fact that she can't see properly and can't quite feel the needle between her fingers, is not deterring her.

I've had a very quiet day at home today.
