Raised bed

A good morning working in the garden. Rob decided to start on his new raised bed, using some wood salvaged from a cattle pen. He had to cut a couple to the right length which was a bit of a struggle until he got the chainsaw out.
We lined the base with cardboard sheets then a layer of composted grass.
We will go and collect some more horse manure for it, and top off with some nice garden compost.
I am going to grow Rob some strawberries!
