A Day Of 'Firsts'

Today was a day of firsts, the first first was Eva rolled!!!! I lay her on the bed after her morning snooze for a feed and she couldn't quite reach me and must've been starving, so she rolled from her back towards me onto her front, I thought, gotta be a fluke, so rolled her back over to see what she'd do, and sure enough she rolled back towards me again, I was so excited I cried!!!
It was a lovely sunny day so we put the cats out into their new pen and got all the washing and housework done. Nala was very clingy with me, only 3 weeks til her 1st litter is born.
Eva sat in her rocker that Nanny bought her for a bit watching CBeebies, she absolutely loves it and was engrossed when baby Jake came on (not her brother Jake, Jake on the programme).
Laura popped in with Aunty Liza as she brought her to fetch her car after the Eurovision get together last night, it was the first time Laura had met Eva so that was lovely.
Grandad came round in the afternoon and sang Down At The Bottom of the Deep Blue Sea with Eva which she loved. Grandad said he hadn't seen Eva for 3 days so had to come and see her awwww :-)
Mike set up her travel cot today as she has well and truly outgrown her Moses basket which we've had to put away :-( our baby girl is growing soooo fast, she kept rubbing her hair out on the sheet as her head touched the top of the Moses basket so it was about time. Thing is the cot doesn't fit my side of the room so it's had to go Mike's side which feels very strange not to have her lying to the left of me in sight. We lay her in it watching some of In The Night Garden which you can see in the photo, then put her in her Grobag that Aunty Vikki bought (another first, sleeping in her Grobag) gave her a feed and she's gone straight to sleep and is fast asleep in her travel cot no problems, bless her. Night night my darling girl xxxxx
