Catkins Jim…

I recently saw a shot of, guessimetrically, Hazel Catkins.  I've no idea if they were this years or not - BUT - it inspired me to check on the resident Betula Pendula Youngii . 
I'm almost ashamed to admit it - another BUT - in all the time we've had it, at least since Sep '15, I have never, consciously, noticed Catkins as clearly as on its predecessor, which we "lost" here, so we were two years Birch-less.
