Another tulip

Still cut tulips, grown right here in western Oregon, but in glasshouses. It's been such a cold, wet and snowy late spring here that the tulips will be a while yet. A misty and cold morning, followed by some rain showers and a now, late this afternoon, a bit of sun. This weather is forecast to continue for at least a week, with the temps gradually rising after that. Fingers crossed. 

My son and the grandkids came over this afternoon and we had a lovely time. Got to catch up with my son a bit too, which is always a joy. The ex stopped by to say hello to everyone. Afterwards I puttered around and made a mushroom and squash curry for dinner. Trying to be organized for the week ahead! A lot is happening...the garage renovation should be finished this week (YAY!) and the blinds for my kitchen are being installed tomorrow morning. And the company doing the installation of the gas insert for the fireplace will be along tomorrow afternoon to give me an estimate. Good stuff!
