Walking up the hill

This morning I drove the Morris Minor back  to our storage garage across town to join the Morris 8. Both are now safely in storage under covers. I will visit them periodically through the Autumn to drive them then they will be long term stored through the winter. I don't like taking them out too much in the rain so they will probably not come out again until mid-Spring. I bussed home but decided to get off at the bottom of the hill and walk up. There are several options but today I went up the Valley Road steps (left image. There are 158 of them) and then the Whisby Road walkway (right image). Both of these provide good shade on a hot day. It is just a 2km walk but ascends to 200m above sea level.
