Always peaceful

Our cemetery is a lovely green open space. Beautifully landscaped with gorgeous shade trees, it takes full advantage of gentle sloping land.
On an edge of town. Across the road is the animal husbandry lot of the nearby high school. So if I choose, and I often do, I get to say hello to some goats, sheep, chickens.

The cemetery has no fence or gate and dogs are allowed. It's a wonderful place for gentle walks.

I have two friends there I say hello to evert now and again. Glad to have met them.

This particular gravestone is so old the inscription has completely eroded away. And yet this lovely vase bird is still serving
