“Vibia Picata”

“Vibia Picata” is one of the few women recorded in the Antonine Wall records. She is known to have been based at Westerwoods Fort & to have dedicated an altar to Silvanus, God of the Woods.
This is a depiction of her in the striking new mural at Auchinstarry Marina by the artist @kmgyeah. This is the 1st of 5 new murals being created along the route of the Wall.
It has certainly brightened up the loo block!!! :-)
