Two quilts on the bed

It's been so cold I put an extra quilt on the bed. This has been on the sale pile. So glad no one bought it as I now really like it especially the big stitch hand quilting. The pattern is created not by contrasting colour but by value - carefully placed contrasting dark, medilum and light fabrics.
I like seeing the flying geese on the quilt underneath peeping out at the top.
