Got up late, went to the gym and then off to Portland's Japanese Garden. The Garden is thought to be one of the best outside of Japan.

Our daughter, Jenny, arrived from Minnesota yesterday and will be staying with us until Wednesday. After our garden visit, we had dinner at Pok Pok, one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Portland. The recipes are from northern Thailand; the food is very spicy. We had talapia and papaya salad; both were very tasty.
