Loki, God of Mischief (Monday 6th March 2023)

I visited C. in Trowbridge this afternoon and we did some birdwatching from her conservatory with Loki. He ignored a blackbird that had some grey feathers as a result of a bit of bother with a sparrowhawk, but made excited murderous squeals at a woodpigeon that had the temerity to sit with its back to us. It was light enough there that I didn't need to use flash.
In two days time Loki will have lived here for two years.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
William Onyeabor - Fantastic Man (1979)
Originally from the album Tomorrow, one of seven self-released albums, this became better known on a CD compilation from 2013 called Who Is William Onyeabor?  In 1985 he became a born-again Christian, refusing to ever speak about himself or his music again. He was later crowned a High Chief in his hometown of Enugu, Nigeria, where he worked on government contracts and ran his own semolina flour mill. He died on 16 January 2017.
