Surprise Monday gift

Monday’s are always a challenge.

Lately, Noo has been declaring his intention to stay at home on Mondays - it becomes a little wearing! Although I slept well, I wanted to keep sleeping. All those miles are catching up with me.

Monday at work wasn’t actually that bad, but I was dealing with a remote issue. My mum has had an oesophageal stent fitted today, which has caused her lots of anxiety. She has needed careful handling. Apparently the procedure went well and she was home by lunchtime - phew!

I came home to find this on the kitchen countertop:-)
