I finally cut down the teasel when I was tidying up in the garden on Sunday, and the very spiky dried stem is now in the kitchen.

Today was noticeably colder, and it's due to stay chilly this week. I doubt we'll get any of the predicted snow this close to sea level but who knows?! I may still need to protect some of the more delicate plants that have started to appear above ground or send out new shoots!

It was lovely and sunny today outside. Worked at home so got to watch some of the blue and long-tailed tits on the feeder.
