Here it comes

The much forecast snow is slowly heading this way.

Was up in KIrkwall for tai chi and we decided to finish early as the snow was falling steadily. Road conditions were pretty slippery so just took my time driving back. I realised I was travelling faster than the snow clouds about half way home and by the time I got back there was just a dusting on the roads.

Looking back north the huge bank of snow cloud was lit up by the moonlight. A bitterly cold north wind is slowly pushing it this way. I’ll be surprised if there’s not a covering of snow come morning.
