A happy day in London

Got the 6.30 train to Euston and was there by just after 9.00. Had a wonderful day visiting the Dali immersive exhibition in Brick Lane. It was just incredible. There are no words to describe it. I didn’t want to leave. I then spent a happy couple of hours wandering around Spitalfields market and all the shops in that area. Then off to The Barbican to see Alice Neel’s exhibition, which was as good as I hoped it would be. Then on to Piccadilly to Fortnum and Mason, my favourite shop in London. They have wonderful teas there, so of course I left with a bag or two. I then wandered through Burlington arcade to look at all the crazily expensive shops in Bond Street. Then off to The Wolseley to have afternoon tea. Yup. I just can’t resist it. Sandwiches, scones and cakes and as much tea as I could drink. I got home at 10.30 - a long day, but just fabulous.
