‘Book’ group

Had tea and a bacon sandwich with T before he went to work then I went down to P’s again and had a less frustrating day helping him with phone calls, audiologist visit planning, and transferring funds from his various accounts into one (let’s hope he remembers he asked me to do all this!). He was much more positive today and not being so strange and accusatory as yesterday (extra). Luckily C came round and we had a nice chat and agreed on our approach, and then I went to GP surgery to get some stuff for repeat prescriptions sorted out face to face. After a bit of shopping then hoovering I finally left him mid afternoon. Nipped to K’s to decompress a bit over tea and egg custard tarts, then home to see T but he was in bed feeling poorly with a sore throat and temperature. Sat with him for a while, and Kt will be back this evening, then went to CF’s for the book group evening. No book to discuss of course(!) but nice to catch up and as usual lots of chat about C’s family dramas, coronation invitations, family, travel etc etc. hopeless photo but a laugh, and got back to bed very late!
