Autumn leaves at home

Firstly I would like to thank all the blippers who helped push my journal entry of the flying lorikeet yesterday (May 19th) to the the Spotlight page. All your comment, stars and favourites have been greatly appreciated.

Today there are no birds to be seen in the tree that formed the background of that bird blip. Instead I caught the late afternoon Autumn sun on the golden leaves of this flowering cherry tree.

I hear we are in for a lot of rain over the coming days, and so accordingly this blip makes the most of the Adelaide sun - while it lasts.

Better autumn leaves. But no birds!
