Freckled face

This little hellebore was a casualty of weeding, so it seemed a good opportunity to photograph it close up. Mono accentuates its pretty freckles, I think. Thanks to KangaZu for hosting Monday's mono challenges throughout March. 

Still playing catch-up: backblipping this one day late. 

(Just as I was typing that sentence, my left ear popped. Only a small pop, only a slight improvement, and it may well close up again as it did before. But fingers crossed as I only have one more day of antibiotics to go. But the sun is shining so that's encouraging, too.)
