Hellebore Flowers - Ice and Roses

I went to one of the u3a book groups that I host and then made a quick trip into Tesco for a few things. I also cleaned the oven during the afternoon; I should do it more often!
 
Today’s picture is of some, past their best, Hellebore flowers, the label states that these are called Ice and Roses.
 
The temperature at noon today was six degrees Celsius. No snow overnight, but a few snow flurries as I cooked lunch, otherwise bright and cold.
