Young Ben on The Archers has had a tough few months and a particularly stressful day recently. His pal Josh reminded him of the technique his counsellor advised when needed: to take a walk and see five things, hear four things and touch three things.
I'm not stressed at the moment, certainly not after a fun filled Hobbler weekend away, but I was mindful of the advice when I set out in the sunshine for a walk around the moor this afternoon. It certainly does focus the mind on what is around you and away from those 'what are we going to have for dinner' niggles.
