Flat battery
It’s quite possible Darren is the most useless photographer in the Uk. Tonight was a prime example. For once the weather was bright and sunny, ideal weather for photography. Things started well for Darren he got a couple of photos of me, one of them is todays photo, but then after about 15 minutes his battery went dead, even worse he hadn’t brought his phone either. Normally it wouldn’t be much of a problem, but tonight the Barn owl put on a show, a super show, the kind of show if you had your camera with you you’d want to try and capture something memorable. Darren had his camera but with a flat battery it was no better than a bunch of grapes. To make things even worse as the sun began to set, the clouds came alive and they looked great with the reflections on the still reservoir and then the full moon made an appearance and it looked orange. What could be worse than that, well what about you put the orange moon, with the colourful sunset clouds, the reflections in the reservoir and then the Barn owl flying over reservoir all at the same time. Darren didn’t capture any of this, but he did see it and ultimately that’s the far more important thing, but he is kicking himself for not checking battery before he left home.
