Tuesday: Logs

This morning started with a layer of hailstones on many of the cars in our neighbourhood, but the sun soon came out, we had blue sky, fluffy clouds and sunshine to dry the washing :-))
Our first job after breakfast was to move the logs delivered yesterday, they’d been unloaded at the front of the garage - MrD was on wheelbarrow and I was stacking, until I got tired. It took us about an hour then we had coffee!
I picked some of my homegrown leeks and made leek & potato soup for dinner for me, MrD had a more substantial meal.
By 8pm the temperature outside has dropped below zero degrees centigrade, snow is forecast … I don’t like snow :-((
