Zentangle in the sand .

Isaac and family have been staying , its full on and so i'm back blipping now that they have gone home . 
He made me a zentangle during a few off duty minutes.
Eric is now crawling with confidence and interested in many things , including Bramble .
I got up with Florence each morning and we had a bit of time to play together before other family members came down . We played the same game each morning , I was either a nurse , a doctor or a midwife  while Florence was the patient [ usually with her baby ]and we role played various visits . It was all very serious , Florence set out the objects that were to be used as our medical kit and directed the story line which was mainly about her sore ear, sore knee , sore toe etc. What I thought was interesting , as I reflected back , was that she was sorting out her baggage from the night time before moving on to the new day . " settling her ash , " as Jan would say . It was fascinating , she has an amazing vocabulary for all sorts of subjects , including emotions so I get to see what is going on in a small child's head. 
We have had more opportunities to connect since Eric arrived , what joy .
