Snail Hotel!!

I wasn't expecting much photographically on my lakeside walk today. Dull, and very windy, so flat sky and plants and trees were blowing madly!

But I came across this trio and it amused me. Obviously a desirable spot away from the weather.

It was a challenge to take, no tripod, on my knees, and no matter which way I used the camera, I couldn't get them all in focus!! So frustrating!

So I chose the larger banded snail as the main focal point and hoped for the best.
