Coastline near St Ives

Today we completed another stretch of our Cornish coastal walk, this one was from Zennor to St Ives. It was quite hard going in parts climbing over rocks and boulders and took us longer than we had anticipated; but then sun shone all the way and the scenery was lovely. It's been eight months since we did our last stretch of the coast so we all agreed we'll have to have shorter gaps if we're to complete all of the coastal path before our joints give up!

I did read The Flood by Emile Zola and I was a little underwhelmed. It's a short story not a book, and though I enjoyed it, and it is very sad, I didn't feel strongly affected by it as my friend did.
