International Women’s Day (IWD)

In honor of the above, i’m featuring a portrait of a woman from Niger in Africa, where i spent a bit of time documenting the impact of a community-based project sponsored by the organization I used to work for.

It’s one of a collection of such portraits I did to showcase the dignity of hard working women in the midst of terrible conditions.

(And yes, I am cheating on the date but IWD just begged for this portrait) :)
