This perfectly formed fire had been fed with carefully selected twigs whose charred remains formed a neat perimeter to the central ash.
Who had made this fire and why had they deserted it? Was it a thief burning incriminating evidence, a Boy Scout practising the skill of lighting a fire with one match or was it the Wee Folk celebrating the full moon?
