Like An “Irish Joke”
Paddy & Mick In The Wars - Early start to get to the vet with Paddy, thirty minute examination and some treats and our minds were at rest, he has some medication and needs to take it easy for a day or two but everything is good.
We worry more about our pets than we do about ourselves.
Mrs S and I returned Paddy home and before heading off to get some ironmongery for the back gate, another on my list of things to do when the weather improves, we enjoyed a Rick Stein recipe of baked eggs in tomatoes with paprika and chilli for a late breakfast.
During the afternoon I made a chicken curry for dinner, a dinner that was delayed due to a late appointment at the dentist. 5:40pm is the latest I’ve been to the dentist and as I wasn’t experiencing any problems I was a little surprised when he dived straight in and removed a tooth. He found it a little difficult and needed to break the tooth in two to get it out.
When eventually the anaesthetic wore off I felt as though I’d been hit on the jaw with a hammer.
Chicken curry enjoyed by chewing on one side of my mouth.
Todays photo is the pond in Kimberley Park, taken on my walk down to the dentist.
