Battersea

Day trip to London today to meet Ivana before she moves back to Prague. We met at Borough Market for Turkish Coffee and a tourist photo outside Bridget Jones flat (film location nerd alert).

Next a walk around Battersea Power Station as a newly opened shopping centre. Incredible architecture. We skipped the overpriced shops and found a river front Italian restaurant for the most delicious food.

All too quickly it was time for Ivana to depart. We hope to meet up again in the summer either in Prague or Munich.

On my way back to the train home I took a detour to Fortnum’s to buy some tea for Mother’s Day and some Toffolossus biscuits on request of my friend. The tin looked incredible but I was restrained today and only purchased two small boxes of tea bags for home. I may regret not buying more.
