HONG KONG DAY 3

hooray got Internet!
Lazy start.....no really lazy start!! Most unusual for The Rev to lie in! We tried out the local transport system taking the tram to the ferry....wow the expense...26p on the tram and 28p on the ferry!!
#note The Rev looking out from The Star Ferry.
# We then walked to The Peninsula Hotel for afternoon tea..like The Ritz but with a more relaxed dress code (at least that's what we had been told by the concierge at The Peninsula)
# We queued for nearly 2 hours.... enough time for The Rev to buy appropriate footwear and me to snoop around the hotel!
# yummy afternoon tea with excellent service.
# Then we went to the other extreme and after a stroll through Temple Street Market we dined in a corner "shack" on plastic chairs with loo rolls for serviettes!!! Fresh peppered crabs and spicy prawns....yummy! Got taxi back to hotel and then we went for another massage...... We were both concerned if it was a bit dodgy....after being lead separate ways for shower, sauna, steam and jacuzzi and then lead into a massive room with big leather chairs and lots of "towelled" bodies....we were both relieved to see each other. We were offer food and drink but were worried about receiving a big bill at the end. However it was all above board and we enjoyed the treatment alongside each other! Eventually got back to our room about 1:30!!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR: OUR 2 EXTREME DINING EXPERIENCE!,
